Restaurant bewertenThis restaurant serves incredibly delicious dishes filled with a variety of fruits, peanut butter, cacao, and other tasty ingredients.
This restaurant offers a variety of light and fresh vegan options. Despite many items being vegan, they are not clearly labeled as such. Some examples include the ice cream being soy-based and the waffles being vegan. Additionally, we were caught off guard when we found out that only cash is accepted, as there was no indication of this beforehand. This made for an uncomfortable situation after our meal when we had to rush back to our hotel to find cash to pay. It would be helpful if this policy was clearly communicated to customers.
After a long hike in the national park, this restaurant is the perfect spot! It is conveniently located right on the road from the park exit and offers a variety of refreshing options such as smoothies, açaí bowls, and ice cream. We tried the non-alcoholic Piña Coladas and açaí bowls and they were delicious. They also offer Falafel for those looking for something more substantial, although we did not try it ourselves. The woman who runs the restaurant is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you have any preferences or dislikes when it comes to fruit, be sure to let her know, as the açaí bowls are packed with a variety of fruits.
I have been a loyal customer of "Natural Food" for several years and today, on their 3rd anniversary, I finally decided to write a review and express my gratitude. I want to say a big thank you for the delicious Acai Bowls, energizing Falafel Wraps and Salads, tasty vegan waffles, freshly prepared smoothies (especially the Acai Smoothie), cold coffee, Piña Colada, vegan ice cream, and fresh fruits. I have come to love the entire menu over the years. I also appreciate the option to buy caramelized cocoa beans as a treat or gift. The restaurant offers quality, freshness, nutritious food, fair prices, and a great happy hour deal. The warm atmosphere, positive energy, and friendly conversations with the owner, staff, and other customers make this place special. "Natural Food" is not just a restaurant, it is a place with good vibes, connecting people and providing excellent customer service. They accept card payments and offer WIFI. I highly recommend stopping by when in Costa Rica for a lovely experience you won't regret. (Review updated as of February 2, 2024)
Perezoso Coffee House, formerly known as Natural Food, is still serving up delicious açai bowls and vegan waffles, although they were unfortunately sold out of waffles during our visit. The staff member we encountered spoke English, which was helpful. The açai bowls were tasty, especially with the extra sugar we requested. While waiting for our food, we were able to browse the tourist shops located nearby. There was ample seating available around noon. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.
