Restaurant bewertenI remember working with Chris and Ms Sally back in the day; there was and still is a family atmosphere which is rare these days. Good ole' country food made with love. Yall gotta stop by!!
The fried catfish was delicious and the grits were the best I’ve had. The location and outside of the restaurant are unassuming but the food inside was worth visiting for.I was definitely pleasantly surprised having just stopped for lunch while passing through town.
I had the Texas brisket. It was fabulous. Buttermilk pie was so yummy, too.Kid-friendliness: Basic enough for my picky eater.
I’ve ordered online from them three times all three times. I’ve had to wait 15 minutes at least one time 30 minutes after the day time it was supposed to be done twice the order was wrong and twice they forgot the sides.
What a fantastic experience! This was my first time eating here. Our waitress, Mal was really awesome. She took great care of our table was very friendly. The staff as a whole was on the ball and seemed to have a great attitude. I really appreciate how organized they were. The facility was neat and clean, and well decorated for the holidays. The food overall was really good but the highlight was an appetizer called the Pickled Pig. This is a must have. I’ve never had anything like it. My mind was blown. Whoever came up with this is truly a southern culinary genius.I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in town. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!
