The Clubhouse - Manorhamilton

I was only in Dromahair for 4 days and we visited The Clubhouse 3 times. Sunday lunch and 2 breakfasts. Seriously the best and toasties food around. The Sunday roast is just ridiculously good (though I could’ve killed for an extra toast potato). The breakfast selection is exceptional. Full Irish breakfast one day and slow scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with bacon the following day. Honestly if you’re in the area, do visit The Clubhouse. You will NOT be disappointed. Staff are lovely, warm, friendly and welcoming. Visit! Now! Just do it!

Another fantastic meal in the Clubhouse. The food was amazing as always, and the service was great. One of the staff members overheard it was my son's birthday, so she arrived out with his dessert on a birthday plate candle and all, and her belting out happy birthday, a really lovely touch

Having been here before many times I was looking forward to a good meal, however when I arrived I was stopped in my tracks by a women in her 50s who clearly took an issue with the fact I hadn’t booked a table. Before I had the chance to explain that I wouldn’t mind waiting at the bar for 30 minutes until one became available she verbally attacked me, I don’t really know how else to put it. I’ve never been dealt with in such a manner in all my years dealing with the public. This woman should the allowed work in a stable let alone a restaurant with the reputation this one has. She is the most unprofessional, ignorant and downright rude person I’ve ever seen. She clearly doesn’t like her job or resents the customers that go in there. If I was the owner she wouldn’t be there for another day!! I’ve been here many times before and while I’ve seen her I’ve never dealt with her until that day!! I’ve never been back since and I will NEVER go back again!! Just want to be clear that I’ve always enjoyed the food here but I’d eat dog poop rather the. Go back again to be spoken to like that.

We often dine at The Clubhouse or upstairs at the Riverbank. The food is consistently high quality, the location is clean, and the service is typically friendly and efficient despite how busy it gets on weekends. The chicken supreme is delicious but does take some time to prepare, and the steaks are also quite tasty. I would definitely recommend it.

My family and I had a dinner at The Clubhouse last week, and the restaurant was bustling. The service was fast and efficient, and the food was fantastic. Every time we dine at The Clubhouse, we have a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.
