Il Fornaio Manhattan Beach

Our waitress was attentive, but I felt it was a bit rude that she couldn’t wait just one minute for us to sit down and take off our coats before diving into questions and discussing the specials. Additionally, we noticed the prices have risen significantly and are becoming out of our budget. However, we did appreciate the nice $45 prix fixe menu, which was a pleasant option. While the food was good and the service was nice, we left feeling conflicted and uncertain about returning, especially since we drove all the way from San Pedro for dinner. It's a little disappointing to say the least.

As always, the service was excellent. The food and wine selection was impressive, and I especially appreciated the wide variety of wines available by the glass.

I really feel compelled to address Dr. Krystal B's review. I'm a regular at this restaurant, particularly at the bar, and I’ve had varied experiences that I think are worth sharing.

I arrived at 4:30 PM, and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Our server, Eric, was friendly and attentive, taking our orders right away. The food arrived promptly. The risotto was...

I always have a great experience here. It's one of my favorite spots in town. I'll definitely be returning soon.
