Restaurant bewertenWe attended a birthday dinner here and got a great sample of the menu. Everything we had was delicious and tasted fresh. The service is fantastic and attended to everyone's needs for the whole evening and really made the experience truly special for the entire family...thank you!!! On a different note, how in the heck did I not know about this place?!! I will definitely be putting this on my regular take out list.
Soup (borsch) was good as well as the potato dumplings. The pickled herring didn’t taste like they are making it in house as I was told. It was very salty and tasted like the one you would buy packed in the grocery store. The potatoes were really good though. Pickled vegetables were ok: cabbage was good, but tomatoes was not pickled but slightly salty same as cucumbers.
Good variety of representation for Eastern Europen fair, however the food was a bit undeflavoured. We had the pickled platter, borscht and pelmeni soups. The pickle platter had very light flavors with cabbage being the best and the pickles being 'light-salted ' style (not my personal preference). Borscht was not as hearty as I had expected, however the pelmeni soup was delicious. Service was good. They have a simple but cozy decor and played muted Russians cartoons on the projector screen, which was a nice touch for the kids.
Good food and great ambiance. You will love any dish you order.
Fancy food and casual atmosphere. There are different menus for brunch but you can still order from the regular menu.
