Coffee shoppe with books , and small trinkets aka gifts and what nots such as candles, custom reefs, local customized gifts and my favorite purchase a silk like visor for yard work, boating , or sun protection in general. They also probably have some of the best outdoor seating on Girod Street in Mandeville. They offer small pastries as well. The entire concept and visited experience is genius. Would refer them to anyone looking for a charming tucked away gem. #OUTDOORSEATINGFAVORITES

I had an amazing online shopping experience with The Book The Bean. I had a gift certificate and was having problems with the check out. I emailed them, and Karrie helped me get everything resolved quickly! The tea I had wanted was out of stock, and not only did they send me a refund with my books, but also extra tea! Finally a good coffee shop in Old Mandeville! Outdoor seating is abundant. Friendly service and good prices! This could be a fantastic after dark hang out spot.
