Restaurant bewertenReally cozy and nice place! Went for the afternoon tea and was told all was ok. But after being seated it was sold out… Pity! Had the club sandwich which is highly recommendable. Hope to be back for afternoon tea.
Posh restaurant, suitable for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner. centrally located in some places at the top of the king st. it has fantastic instagrammable interiors and a food presentation to fit. we also had live music in the night. the waitress seemed new and was not fully versed with the menu, some of the elements did not come as described unfortunately, although indicated on the menu. Maybe they ran out of the ass this day. also some of the desserts (or ingredients) lacked at night. eating was good, with an interesting selection, but to be honest, I wish it tasted as good as it looked sound. chicken satay was on point! had some problems with the drinks and delayed dessert, but the management had a quick and excellent response to this, their proactivity was very appreciated, although that made them a positive experience. I wish many more places had such a customer focus. would consider it for another romantic dinner.
We were quite impressed by grand pacific, it was much better than we had expected, so sometimes they can go back because it was as good as we remembered from Australian Asia. I also think that we have ordered well, they can not really go wrong with oysters as long as it is qualitatiw high quality products, but the others were good. the prices are uphill, so it is the type of upper middle offer restaurant that they can go with a group for a special occasion, unless they are loaded. when they know the restaurants of living ventures, they know what they get here, they are licking and shiny, but eating for us was, as I said, well realized.
The queen of spinningfields, australasia has now expanded its offer with the opening of grand pacific; a contemporary, colonial bar in the heart of the manyth financial capital. it can be accessed via a remote staircase within austalasia, this unique cocktail bar calls the atmosphere of a luxurious Pacific beach hidden with intelligent colonial style decor in cream and white, a long bar, and a secret tropical garden. with exquisite cocktails as main focus. the menu is the same as Australasia so they can expect some mouth watering sushi and desserts here. the whole place screams class and panache from every corner. this bar is definitiw very unique and reminds me of a lot of stylish cocktail bars in london or new york. the pricing is a very high end as they would imagine and they need to look at some blurred clothes to not feel like this out of the place. I can vouch that the food is delicious and so are the cocktails, but that they also find in many other places so that these they need to visit pure for the ambiente and the whole experience. judgement: great place to visit if they want to feel special!
What a lovely decandant, eperience we had today at the Grand Pacific on King Street. The history of the place is full of character and is documented in the front of the menu, as it used to be the old Gentleman's Club back in the day. Kudos. We went for the High Tea today, thinking we were getting a choice of either the savory or the sweet and a Tea or coffee (can be upgraded to wine or champers) WRONG you get both which was happy days for us all. And don't worry about the table space as 3 servings can fit on 1 platter. The staff were great explaining the array of pastries and fillings, the bar is massive and the seating is comfortable with a nice view of King Street if you get a window booth. We've already booked for NYE can't wait to try something else off the menu.
