Minimal beer selection. Not friendly staff. 3% credit/debit card fee too.

Went in about 2 days ago while on vacation my boyfriend (22yo) went in to buy alcohol my bf asked where the trulys were he happily pointed, once my bf was up at the counter about to pay he gives the worker his id and the man insisted the id was fake my boyfriend suprised told him no and instead of just refusing him service the worker took his id and damaged his property the plastic was ripped on top and also bent almost in half. We did file a police report not sure there’s much we can do but for future reference it was a horrible experience 0/10

I was here about 2 weeks ago for a bday weekend for myself and 2 gfs. I brought some liquor to make us some drinks but we decided against drinking too much which meant I was aching for a beer. Decided to Google what was close to our Airbnb and this place popped up. Was a little bit of a walk so was SUPER happy that they had the beer and a bottle opener that I wanted plus everything was very well priced for it being a tourist spot! I paid about the same as I would typically, so that was cool. Plus the cashier was absolutely awesome! Super kind and funny and told us about the karaoke going on next door as well as their pickle shots I was eyeballing up. Definitely would come here again if I choose to do another stay in OC!

I was there during the previosly reviewed interaction.. it isnt true. 1 bottle was miss priced.. it was explained to her it was a mistake. The clerk wasnt the owner, but she so verously verbally attcked the young man he was scared into giving her 3 dollars out of his pocket cause the scanner was broken and he had already keyed the card in by hand once which she insisted even though it said cash only... no scam or theft. She walked out with the clerks money. And a better deal than she should have.. he changed the stickers immediately In front of me.. classic karen prib mad about her bad hair day.

This was the best liquor store I’ve ever been to. It’s a nice place, the selection is amazing and Jeff who runs it couldn’t be nicer. This will always be one of my stops while in OC. Couldn’t have had a better experience and Jeff goes out of his way with his customer service
