South Side Tavern - Manchester

Visited with some friends. The gyro was very good. Hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The pita bread tasted very fresh as well. The staff was friendly. Only downside was the 'double ' order of fries I got with the gyro seemed like the amount of a single order. But some of the other portions I saw with the folks I was with were massive. The lamb leg was huge. The shrimp pasta was more than one could eat. And the eggplant calzone (or that is what it looked like) was big and looked great. Will definitely be back.

Amazing food and kind service. I typically order from their Greek menu. The Greek potatoes are unbelievably delicious! Great selection, food delivered hot and any mistakes are corrected in a prompt and kind manner.

My Rating 4.4 I think the food is here is good and consistent plus its priced well. Not to mention you can gamble here so this joint offers food entertainment! Chunk Steak Cheese with the salad on top, your welcome! Cheers, Jason Duckless

Honestly... the restuarant is small inside but the food is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have plenty of TVs to keep all the games going and if you're a gambler, the casino is just across the hallway. There are some machines in the restaurant but I was told they are not like the casinos, whatever that means( I dont gamble . Their location is great, located right across the street from 2 good hotels with some shopping surrounding the area. The bar staff took time to know your name and would tell you theirs. But the main thing is the food I ordered. I wasn't informed of the size of the food I was ordering but I was greatly impressed. Calzones is what i ordered, and i said a full, (Trying to be a big shot. Instead of a half. Well I wasn't disappointed. The food came promptly and was good. I'll be back the next time I cut across Mansfield New Hampshire.

I didn 't have high expectations of this place given that it is connected to a low budget 'casino '. We went because most places were closed. The food was fantastic!! With a large variation to choose from including pizza, pasta, sandwiches, apps, salads, and entrees, it wasn 't an easy decision. I got the caeser salad and carbonara, my friend got the turkey club. The portions were huge and omg, soooooo good!! Honestly, one of the best pasta dishes I 've had. The bartender was also very friendly, knowledgeable, and added to the experience!!
