Distant Brewing - MAMMOTH LAKES

Such a fun little spot, the perfect spot for spring or summer for sure. Colder days not so much, my husband and I unfortunately had to sit outside due to no room inside. We were literally the only people out there and they had no heaters going for the overflow of people so customers were just standing around inside. Not very comfortable in my opinion. But we've also gone on the warmer days and sitting outside is nice. Their food is pretty good too, I only tried one dish from them and I was happy.

Welcoming, friendly, great vibes, love love the beer, the pretzel and beer cheese is delicious. Kara made my birthday trip extra special. She's awesome. Would highly recommend this place!

Went back to Distant a year later. All of the good things are still in place. They've improved their outdoor seating with couches, etc. Even better! Some new beer varieties were fun. Tried some food options (like mac and cheese) tasty and great value! The staff is always friendly and helpful. When you add in the extraordinary setting, this is still by far my favorite brewery ever!

It was a chill brewery, a tad small but they did have ample seating. Two pool tables which is cool and I saw like a band set up on one end. I personally wished there was more variety in what the serve, I 'm not an IPA/hop forward beer drinker and I felt most of the menu was hoppy. I got the cider which was sweet but good and I think brewed elsewhere. I also had their blonde ale, I didn 't get the blonde part though haha mostly ale. we didn 't order any food, it was a small kitchen , the appetizers like the pretzel kr grilled cheese seemed fine, the other menu didn 't seem like anything I wanted.
