Southgate Roller Rink - Maltkiln Lane

I loved the Sunday rollerskating class ! Very nice and welcoming instructors and staff. They split us up into levels. Even though 90% of the class was kids I still felt comfortable and totally fine! For $12 you get a skate rental, a lesson, and two additional hours of free skate. A great deal, i definitely will go back : I will say that area and the parking lot is very sketchy, as I walked in a homeless man who was fully talking to himself having an episode was right next to the railing that takes you up to the building. So just keep your car clear and locked and watch your kids, don’t let them go outside alone.

Raving Review for Southgate Roller Rink I recently revisited Southgate Roller Rink, and I have to say, my experience was exceptional—so much so that I've completely changed my opinion from six years ago. Back then, I had some reservations, but after this visit, it's clear that the rink has made incredible improvements in both cleanliness and overall atmosphere. The facility was spotless from the moment I walked in. It’s obvious that they take pride in maintaining a clean environment, and it really enhances the entire experience. The friendly and attentive staff also made a huge difference. They were not only welcoming but genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring everyone had a great time on the rink. I’m impressed by how much Southgate Roller Rink has evolved and I’m happy to say I’ve upgraded my rating. This place is now a go-to for fun, community, and excellent customer service. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great roller-skating experience!

My daughter and bestie went here for the first time. It was absolutely amazing. The service was friendly and quick. The nice human at the skate rental window doubled as freiendly informative skater renter and was out on the floor helping folks like me who haven't been on skates since the 90s. We now have plans to purchase our own skates and come back again and again. Thank you so much for making my daughters birthday memorable.

It was a little ridiculous that I had to pay almost $14.00 to just watch my friends skate...they argued it gave me access to the bar...which I told them I wouldn't utilize because I'm clean and sober... But if you like loud music...and hot sweaty people going in a circle...go for it... Plus side though was everyone was super nice!

One of my favorite places in Seattle. Such a great community space and always fun on a Wednesday night! Everyone there is so friendly, from the staff to the other skaters.
