Restaurant bewertenGood stylish eating, with great selection of reben in the village pont royal. no need to go outside when they live in this complex.
I have a house in the opposite and was recommended that the auberge finally came with some English friends. as far as I am concerned, it was the best meal I had in the opposite for a long time. eat wonderful, wee excellent, and the owner was charming. we will certainly return. the price is more than reasonable for the quality of food and wine.
We were a group of 18 for a mid week outing with retired work colleagues. The meal was awesome despite being a set meal at 40€ nobody was disappointed. From the apperitif to the desert not a wrong note. The set meal was Tourteau (crab) tartar in a delightful arists ceramic pallet plate (so cute), followed my lamb tenderloin, with Morilles, fresh peas, courgettes ... so yummy!! Dislike lamb so the swap was Guinea Fowl supreme ... too good. Followed by local cheeses and a fresh strawberry panacotta ... delightful!! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant. To be noted some outstanding paintings hanging in the main room of the beautiful Arlesienne costumes - brilliant! OOOppps nearly forgot (weather was pretty awful today) but there is a beautiful patio with a pool and the flowers are outstanding - Thank you to the very kind staff.
In an area redolent with the fragrance of lavender, abounding with quaint villages, and close to historic landmarks, Auberge Les Olivades is a landmark of its own. Having exhausted the restaurants on the doorstep of Pont Royal, we took a drive down the N7 and, right on the road, we discovered this comfortable, little restaurant. Offering bistro fare at affordable prices it is well worth stopping on your way from Aix en Provence to Avignon to sample its wares. Fresh, inviting and affordable, this is an eatery that has carved a name for itself in the area.
My wife and I first dined at Auberge Les Olivades in Sept 2014 based on positive recommendations in Tripadvisor. We both ordered the basic 22 Euro 3 course menu, though we paid small supplements to get in one case a particular main course in another a particular desert. Every course was perfection. Based on this first experience we returned for lunch last week. The weather was beautiful so lunch was on a shaded terrace by a pool with a view of the Luberon Mountains. The basic 3 course luncheon menu was 16.5 Euros. I paid a small supplement to have a salade laced with fresh truffles and for Turbot as the main dish. Again each dish was beautifully presented, perfectly prepared and delicious. My wife and I have dined at high end restaurants in the US, France, and Italy, ones with "renowned" chefs. Both of the meals that we had at Auberge Les Olivades were better than any that we had ever had, anywhere, and for a fraction of the price. Terrific food, terrific value. Try it.
