Food n Joy - Malappuram

The restaurant is located on the way to Kottackal near Changuvetti Junction and it has got a number of specialities like airconditioned restaurant, banquet hall, board room, few huts for dining, childrens play area and ample car parking. Overall the ambiance is good. They serve traditional Malabari dishes, Arabian Cuisines and other South Indian Dishes too. I have been to the restaurant several times with my clients and the cuisines served were nice. I don't prefer spicy food but I found the dishes like Biriyani, Chicken dishes etc moderately spicy and well cooked. The service was good too.

The ambience is nice and there is a lot space for children to play around. The food is below average. Chicken and fish curries are just hot with more pepper. Staff behaviour is good.

The restaurant had a beautiful atmosphere, but the service and management were very poor. The food was below average, with long wait times for the starter and disappointing taste. Halfway through our meal, the power went out and we were left in darkness until we left. There was no generator set up. When the bill arrived, they brought a flashlight instead. The meal was also expensive. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am not sure about the past, but this is the current situation.

I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant about a year ago when I visited the hotel. However, upon revisiting this time, I was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. The overall experience was not up to par with my previous visit, as there was a noticeable decline in both the food quality and the level of service provided.
