Restaurant bewertenWe really enjoyed our lunch here. They are only open for a short window (11am-3pm) and we went on a Saturday afternoon. It was very busy when we arrived but I had thankfully made a reservation. The service was slow but again, it was very busy so we understood the staff had their hands full. The food was amazing, we all really enjoyed the home-cooked style food. I had the chicken brocolli crepe which was fabulous and carrot cake for dessert was perfection. All in all, we would recommend!
Enjoyed a lovely lunch at our table by the windows at Pine Croft’s Green Frog Tea Room. Delicious food, great service, beautiful scenery! A little bit of Muskoka in Southwestern Ontario.
We were fortunate to come across this gem in the summer. They have wonderful dining out in the forest amid towering trees, with a nearby pond. Food was wonderful, staff was great and the atmosphere unbelievable.
My significant other says the salmon dish is one of the best they've ever had. My roast beef sandwich with delicious coleslaw was also really good. The best part, however, is the location - a hidden gem in the woods perfect for a relaxing stop on your journey. Brett, our server, was excellent and gave us some great recommendations from the menu.
We have been here twice now for lunch and not disappointed the setting alone is well worth a visit although the food is also extremely good. For the most part the menu is lunch focused although there are a few larger entre type meals. Service is attentive and the pricing is very reasonable. Many tables are scattered throughout the pine trees safely spaced out. While we were there heard the screech of a bad eagle!!. One cautionary note you must have a reservation as it is very popular.
