Restaurante La Barra - Málaga

Here on the recommendation of the young man from whom we rent on our trip. it is at the bottom of the water mixed with many other restaurants. many good decisions. we were served a short little appetizer if we were not sure what they called, but it was like a soft touch on a piece of brot with a rough of a white sauce. good taste. Wife ordered one of the local rosen wines and I had the local beer victoria I think could be more called. she had the squid, with mango chutney .very delicious. Unfortunately, she didn't finish him because she has a bit cold, so her appetit is out. I had the choir food (fed? pork with potatoes....servers recommended when I asked her what is good and what she likes. something set off when it arrived....has roasted what I thought were Jalapeno pepper on it (she asked her .wife and translated them were sharp....sooo from the plate they went. she saw how I made this from all the restaurant. I think the front mgr, he's coming over, asking what's wrong. I tell him nothing is wrong. I don't like jalapeno paprika....mind her, this is little English and Spanish on his and my wife part....AHHHHH... he doesn't say jalapenos, but another green pfeffer that looks very similar....but can be sharp. I told him it's good. I don't like the taste of jalapenos. the paprika were delicious. everything we had was very good....food, service, drinks. they are in Spanish, they will eat later on the day due to the heat. service. in contrast to the usa is relaxed....time to talk/visit....forgive your eating and drinking. it is not a waste and incineration evades the customer setting. If you want to quickly get you burgerroy. if you need or want something....you can get the attention of someone and they'll come right over to help. I've been cooked professionally for over 25 years, so maybe I can see the things differently. I'm either her best customer or her worst nightmare. I know well from bad to easy lazy service. geduld and courtesy work best if they have a problem....it solves nothing. time to wake up again. I highly recommend this place. a lot of fun. ask. fun.

Good refined Mediterranean dishes, beautiful sea view from the terrace. prices okay.

Really crowdy place, pretty good service, normal eating.

We were served rotten food and charged for items that did not arrive! Our bottle of water didn't arrive and they charged us 4 Euros for it anyway! When we politely told them about the overcharge, as we thought it was an honest mistake, they argued with us and said the charge was for the water they served us at the table although clearly the receipt noted the centiliter cl. amount. Also, the Buratta cheese on the salad was spoiled and going bad. Don't eat here. We had been in Spain for 2 weeks and this was one of the worst places we'd been too.

Beautiful tapas bar in city center. very nice eating, beautiful wine and very good price.
