Restaurant bewertenI had a delicious filet steak, accompanied by garlic mushrooms and chips. My partner had a rump steak that was a bit tough. In the photo, you can see my filet sliced, along with some of my partner's sweet potato chips. He really enjoyed the bacon and honey slaw on the side.
I wanted to visit this restaurant when it first opened, and I don't know why I waited so long! The fixed-price menu offers exceptional value for money, and I enjoyed all three courses. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and served quickly in a clean, COVID-friendly environment. The customer service was fantastic, thanks to the lovely Karen. I highly recommend visiting if you haven't already!
I would give this restaurant a 4-star rating for customer service. The meat was cooked quite well, and the starters were decent. The wedge salad with a variety of dressings was a nice touch. However, we found the black peppercorn sauce and mushroom sauce to be quite bland, and the mashed potatoes were rather dry. The side portions were also quite small compared to the amount of meat we ordered. On the plus side, the prices are reasonable for the quality of meat offered. The front-of-house staff were friendly and polite, and Anna D. was particularly professional and made us feel welcome. We'll definitely give it another try soon, hoping for an even better experience.
We met friends here with their two children for lunch on a Saturday. We booked before hand via their website. You need to remember to enter your car reg for parking as you enter the restaurant, though the staff do remind you before showing you to your seats. The service was amazing here, we had a lovely lady, who I want to say is called Karen? Nothing was a problem for her, she was happy to answer any questions and we didn't feel rushed and everything came out perfect. The food was cooked very well and was tasty, I went for the fillet steak, medium rare, with beef dripping and sweet potato fries. The espresso martini tasted delicious too. We have been to a few Miller and Carter restaurants and this one was one of the best. Was a lovely, relaxed place to eat and meet friends. There is a range of prices and food on the menu, not all steaks, and as you would expect you pay more for the better, less fatty steaks. Next time we are in the area we would definitely visit.
The whole food was perfect, steak was the black angus ribeye 8oz, which was cooked to medium-sized rareness (and it also came as a medium-sized rarer) was also the bark drop sauce nice to pair with the steak. dessert was also beautiful, very rich, but had a generous amount of ice to eat it.
