True Texas Bbq - Magnolia

I was surprised how good this place is. However, the sausage casing was pretty hard and the brisket was super fat. I gave this place 4 stars because of all sides: Mac and cheese, potatoes/potato salad, Coleslaw etc. was quite delicious. Your customer service was also excellent!

Here we go with another review from my expertise as an experienced traveler The Place was super clean, tables separated appropriately, utensils were given by a dispenser which was a great touch, free soda refills, plenty of napkins, the taste of the spicy sauce incomparable and the brisket melts in your mouth as tender as it was cooked to perfection. Prices were fair. I ordered 1 meat which came with two sides I ordered bbq beans which were super delicious and a coleslaw which was tasty as well, they give you two slices of bread in a plastic bag which was great pickles and onions. Customer service was just so-so , not bad just dry and down to business you know no smiles just what it was which could get better if they really want people to come back, I didn’t feel welcomed much, the meat was on the small size portion in my opinion, I got 4 slices of pickles which were also not much this is the only reason why I’m giving four stars, if I pay 12 for a meal I expect a little more meat . Hopefully they pick up the act and continue with this great food place. Note; the bad things I mentioned didn’t stop me from enjoying my meal, just mentioned them for them to get better.

Last time I was in there, I got the wrong order, was over charged,and cashier wanted to argue and nothing matched receipt. This time Sprite was out of syrup, but brisket was excellant, cook did a great job smokin it.

Moderate Q at a fair price. Ordered the moist sliced. It teetered on lean The collards were salty and the Mac cheese was too dense. Ordered the brisket stuffed bombers. When I went to get the food from pick up area the lady said they would not be ready for a while. I got my cash back. Then I saw they were on the “ we are out of “ counter menu board. What????? Also saw by 1230 they were out of corn amd peach cobbler. Come on guys. It’s Sunday football ! Be prepared !

Decent Texas-style BBQ in a casual setting. They were out of brisket. Sides were average. Sauce was excellent, especially the spicy stuff. Setting is inside a grocery store so ambiance lacking. I’d go back.
