El Mollete - Madrid

There really are only 4 tables here. It’s very intimate. The food is lovely (we had a few starters, plus 3 main dishes, wish is enough for 2). The red wine (Syrah) was superb. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. You really do need to book in advance for this place. The only improvement we might suggest is playing a little quiet music upstairs it’s so intimate you can hear every conversation at every table.

Had a nice, simple meal here with a couple of beers. Friendly, reasonably priced just a block or two off a heavy tourist area around Plaza Santa Domingo, so the authentic feel and good food was particularly welcome.

Tasty food and adorable staff! I had a omelette with tomatoes and garlic, my husband a Iberian ham with sweet potatoes pure. The olives that they gave as an aperitif was just divine! Good price as well for wine and champagne. I felt really comfortable even been the last client to leave the restaurant, there were no rush or push to us to leave. They definitely know how to treat the clients. Probably I’ll be back there during my holidays.

Excelente atención y gran elaboración de los platos. Recomendable 100% fuimos a cenar sin grandes expectativas y fue de lo mejor.

Fantástico. Aunque tuvimos un error con la reserva, como reservamos en otro lugar de ellos, nos dieron una mesa sin ningún problema. lugar acogedor, pequeño, ideal si quieres ir con tu pareja (para grupos más grandes te recomiendo el otro como dijeron, es más grande). Pedimos unos huevos con papas al montón, la simplicidad de algunos huevos rotos con patatas nunca fueron tan buenos. Entonces pedimos la especialidad, que era lo que vinimos, el sándwich de pastrami, de la que tienen varias noticias diciendo que es lo mejor de madrid. Tengo que decir que son totalmente correctos, pan crujiente, una salsa de mostaza en su medida y grande, algunos brotes (el joto para dar sabor, sin pasar por allí) y un pastrami artesano que se hacen, sabroso, y en bastante por el precio que tiene con respecto a otros locales. y para terminar, un poco de crema cremosa con mascarpone y fresas, muy equilibrado, y un arroz con leche, cremoso, con una capa de azúcar volada a caramelizar, y pasas, que da un toque exquisito. Finalmente destacar la gran atención de la camarera y la cocina, recomendando el 100%.
