Restaurant bewertenThere are only a few vegan options, but they are clearly labeled and the staff is knowledgeable. The Burrito I had was delicious and very filling. The beer selection was also good. Just a heads up, some items may contain honey so make sure to check Barnivore before ordering, especially for those dining as a couple.
In a time where more and more pubs and microbreweries are offering vegan and vegan-friendly options, it is disappointing that Ale Asylum has removed all vegan items from their menu. They used to have tasty falafel dishes, a large hummus wrap, and an even better hummus plate, but not anymore. While they still offer vegetarian items like salads and soups, making them vegan requires omitting the milk and paying the same price. The brewery still produces great beer (I highly recommend the seasonal Tripel Nova), but as a strict vegan, I can no longer recommend this place for a meal.
The restaurant offers a large selection of beer and food. I particularly enjoyed the vegan taco flat bread. The bean dip was also really good.
I had the taco flat bread (naturally vegan style) and it was delicious!!! Would definitely go back and have it back. Love that there are several options to choose from (see below for the on their menu from 9 29 18). Tons of large beer options as well as not (all vegan). Four stars just because they serve meat. Regular vegan menu options: Chips salsa black bean dip, taco flat bread vegan option, Thai tofu salad wrap, side salad, hummus wrap and all beer The frits and notebooks are vegan, but will be in the same friteuse as non-vegan items vegan specials the day I was here: tomatoes basil soup and teriyaki tofu wrap
