Brasserie Lyon Plage

We had some cocktails at the pool that was very relaxing and then moved on to eat a light dinner. all very pleasant, but not excellent hotel eating sometimes comes just a little too fast, which in question ask the cooking...method! a big yes for cocktails and more of a maybe for the meal!

We were in the hotel and had lunch here on the day we arrived and then dinner on Saturday was waiter friendly and courteous, but service was so slow both paints. I am vegetarian and there was at least one choice for me. what was unusual for lyon. the Mediterranean salate and the galetti no pasta dishes were both very good. I also ordered a side of sweetness, which is slightly dente and slightly baked - just as I like it! my friends had fish and pasta dishes and we were all happy with eating. we had a drink in the bar after dinner on Saturday and it was very comfortable with modern low-level music and friendly bar staff.

This bistrô is the restaurant of the hotel metropolis in lyon and it is located on its huge pool. be prepared to observe all the people who enjoy the spa and the pool. the service of fast and attentive and they have a good menu. Cafe...Gourmand is a good option for dessert as it brings small samples. very informal environment as they might suspect.

Not one to spend time to write reviews unless I excessively enjoyed a place or, in this case I did not got sick. I have lived in Lyon plage, right next to Hotel Lyon Metropole for years and therefore I have seen ..experienced the highs and lows of the hotel, sports club and restaurant, but this is the first time I and my guest got sick following a visit! My friend and I both got steaks tartare and both got sick him in the evening following the lunch and I this morning (luckily for me as I was flying home yesterday.. What is disappointing is that the steak is overpriced at or at least to above what you would find in the city centre and that would not five you Delhi belly. What is even more annoying is that I did hear some poor feedback from friends and I guess we should have listen to it. I invite the staff for a response as I feel it is fair but you must mend your ways if you want to pretend you are a restaurant to a hotel! If I was still in Lyon, I would actually have asked for a refund or for you to invite us both to make it up but this is not the case so I hope to receive a response from you.

Nice salmon, wine was good and not expensive . Great internet an a good way to spend a few hours pre flight in Lyon
