Restaurant bewertenFor the price it was nothing crazy, just the normal sushi and traditional flavors. Personally I expected a bit more exotic combinations. The environment and the service was nice :
I have yo confess that I am slightly disappointed. I have eaten Japanese food across the world and Aka is the one that is far behind in my list. I may have been unlucky with the chef being in bad mood but did not appreciated my meal regretfully. The staff was ok but I guess they will not see me again.
Sushi is good but the other choices such as ramen are far from ideal. Service average, friendliness of the staff not at the level it should be with the prices. They are lucky with the location of the restaurant and the interior but this is it. I was also a part of a group that had to pay extra and ask for the money back afterwards, as the staff made a mistake and overcharged us. Some gesture would have been good, as mistakes happen but the attitude was not good seeing as it was their mistake. They made nothing more than giving the money back after I had to go there 2 times asking for it. I wasted my time because of them and they did nothing for us as customers. Will not be going there again.
Avoid like the plague for larger groups. We had booked in advance for a business dinner with over 20 guests. Towards the end, we paid one by one for the final bill of more than thousand euros. When it came to the last person to pay, several dinners were allegedly still left unpaid for. Baffled and confused, our group host paid the difference as the waitress could not find any explanation other than to conclude that some of us did not pay for our dinner. We settled the difference and the next day we internally checked with the whole group of 21 invitees, to find an explanation. We quickly realized that the two dinners that were deemed missing belonged to the first two people who left our gathering. The restaurant had somehow failed to mark their meals as paid in our group's final bill. Equipped with screenshots of the credit cards statements, we returned to the restaurant the next day, only to find out that the manager was not present and that the waitress was not authorized to refund us. Later that day, we were informed by telephone that they had examined our matter and that we could collect the money that we had overpaid. Upon our next visit, the excuse that we received was that their staff was under pressure that day and that our group consisting of 22 people did not arrive all at once. Granted it is true that the first dozen people arrived on the dot at 19:00 while the rest arrived little by little in the next 15 minutes. I do not see how this could matter as the food itself was only ordered once the whole group was there. Yes, one headache and two visits later our group host eventually got the money back that she overpaid. However, if I can make a suggestion, then I would strongly recommend to review your customer service. A small gesture could go a very long way when your business makes a mistake that results in giving the organizer the task of bothering 20 people to confirm that they've indeed paid for their meal. Through no fault of our own, we wasted our whole morning and another two trips going back to the restaurant to have the ordeal settled. It was an unpleasant experience.
A picture of sushi combination platter of “24” pieces miserable delivery, halved pieces counted as whole. Classic rip off, my second time to be utterly disappointed by this place. Safe to say never coming back
