Loved the food but on the day we went, the heating had failed so we ate with our coats on! Hopefully that will have been sorted out so the next time is good.

Very average food and only one waiter covering the bar also, so poor service, also rather expensive, won't be visiting again.

Last year, my wife and I had a wonderful experience staying at the White Lion for 2 nights.

The pub's location is fantastic, as there are no other independent establishments in the vicinity.
