The Chequers Pub - Luton

I visited The Checkers for the first time while waiting for a ride from Luton. I tried the oxtail soup and it was an incredible experience. I had never tasted a soup like that before. Three years later, during a visit with family, we dined at The Checkers again and ordered oxtail dishes. Once again, we were blown away by the amazing flavors. The meat and rice were delicious, and the coleslaw was unlike anything I've ever had before.

What a fantastic discovery! I will definitely return to try more dishes. I haven't had great Jamaican food since leaving Enfield, and this restaurant really satisfied my cravings.

What a wonderful pub! The food is fantastic - you won't find a better place. Plus, you get a generous portion for your money. Definitely worth it.
