So good that I came here TWICE in one day. Helene’s little lunch cafe first wowed me with a clean white interior and charming touches that made me feel like I’m in her personal kitchen. EVERYTHING she makes is beautifully composed on a dish worthy of an Instagram shot – even the drinks with little petals or berries nestled into the rim. Helene herself makes delicious pies, cobblers, cakes, tarts and creates tantalizing home-cooked meals that are a feast for the mouth and eyes. My lunch was two types of clams (mini and razor) in a garlic-scented broth, rice and zucchini, garnished with edible flowers. Absolutely delicious. The open-kitchen format allows you to see her rolling out handmade pie crusts or chopping vegetables with love. If you love and appreciate tasty food with aesthetic touch, you must stop by Helene’s for a taste. Her cafe also has a huge selection of gourmet teas if you’re in the mood for that.
