Restaurant bewertenYum, I could pick up bread from this place every day!!! It is crispy and fluffy on the outside and delicious on the inside. If you can get it 10 a.m., it can even be warm and this is the best!! I use the big foliage for my cheese steaks, and they are perfect! When available, the Baklava, Danish, Croissants, Spinach pastries and fruit pastries are all top-notch. In recent years, we've tried their sandwiches. You're delicious, though I didn't try the sausage. There are a few food items and they serve coffee (can be strong or different than American known coffee). I was in a few other Mediterranean bakeries and foods, but they were not close to the quality as these. Even the father and the son are kind and always remember me. Very nice.
We have been weekly customers for a long time. Outstanding bread and other baked goods.Friendly folks and delicious products.
My family has been getting fresh bread from here for years. Always good quality and the people are nice. They also have good packaged candies and sweets, and fresh meals.
They have good bread, and pretty much everything else is good too.. I found out about this place from a Russian lady I used to work with, she was never really comfortable shopping in supermarkets. She once said, 'They have so many kinds of bread, how do know which good bread? I like Jasmin bakery, THEY have good bread. ' It took me a while to try it out. I 'm a typical suburbanite, I get everything at the supermarket, stopping again just for bread? Well, this place has made me a convert of the concept.<br/ <br/ This place is a bit quirky, but clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Some of the staff are not fluent in English, but they will try to do you right. And what they always do right is the food. This place is basically a bakery, with four kinds of bread, two kinds of white, wheat and a french style baguette. All loafs of bread are fresh with no preservatives and cost $2.50. They also have rolls, turnovers, and some of the best croissant 's you 'll ever find. I 'm partial to the bitter sweet chocolate filled one. My wife, she favors the cheese filled.<br/ <br/ Beyond the baked goods, they also serve fresh coffee and sandwiches. There is no menu I can find, you ask for a sandwich and they bring you a yummy Gyros meat filled roll, with fresh crispy lettuce, tomatoes and tzatziki like sauce. I thought I enjoyed Gyros on a slab of pita, then I had it on a tasty chewy fresh baked roll here. A significant upgrade of a great thing if you ask me. If you don 't want coffee, they have a small collection of bottled beverages. <br/ <br/ The place is only open till 6PM Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays. Breads and pastries are available till they run out. And if you get there early enough, you get to smell the bread baking in the back. Which is a great way to start off your day. They also have a couple of shelves of imported Eastern European goodies you might want to try if you are feeling adventurous.
I rated this place as a like. However, it's not one of those places you are going to cruise into and get a quick lunch. If you call in that is best for food. It was very good. Breads were right. All meats seemed to be lamb and beef mix. I liked it but it's not everybody's thing. Method of ordering wasn't really clear since there is no menu and it's order from a line. Talk to somebody in line and they will steer you right.
