Restaurant bewertenPretty damn good. Excellent selection. Savory, sweet, vegetarian. It captures Americana, Italian, Latin... Nonna's Empanadas really shows off the wide range of choices, allowing the Argentinian menu to show off it's bold take on diversity. The ingredients tasted fresh and wellbalanced in each empanada. Well worth the stop considering it won't break the bank. Nonna's Empanadas also has a cool chic vibe with simple, bold interior design.
My most favorite empanadas shop. I was walking from Rodeo to Beverly Center when I found this and of course I couldn't skip it. My most favorite are with chicken and philly steak. inside its very spacious and they even can warm your empanadas so you can eat there also they offer chimichuri sauce if you want non spicy just ask for one. Perfect bite on the go and they are not dry. chicken was very juicy.
Staff was nice and the empanadas were ok... I've definitely had way better. But it is what it is. They got our order wrong at first and was able to fix it without any issue... A bummer that they only have what's available in the display so if they're out they're out.
I love empanadas and the fact that I found a vegan option was great. While shopping at the Grove in LA I stumbled across this in the farmers market. So many options for empanadas whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or a meat lover. So good I got some for my family as well. Options such as mushrooms, shrimp, chicken or more.
First time trying this place ! Omg ! The alfajores were soooo good ! Made me remember the alfajores where I am from (Peru :’ I had carnitas, cuban and filipino beef empanadas and they were on point ! You can ask for the chimichurri sauce, they had spicy and regular. The space was clean, also the bathroom. Reasonable price. They also have coffee and i liked it. The cashier was friendly and smiley. Def, I will come back.
