Dave's Hot Chicken - Los Angeles

Parking trash. Location on the corner small. Service trash. Food smells good Got medium spicy chicken. Thinking it was gonna have some spice. Non existent t spice.  The chicken tastes kind of sweet.   There some honey on it. Fries feel like they are from smart and final. I feel like the chicken wasn't marinated and they put all of their attention on the batter. The chicken was juicy. I feel like I need to eat something else because this wasn't good at all. Every bite I feel like it shouldn't taste the way it does. This place is one of those places where it's cool to say you had (bragging rights) but really isn't good food. Chic fi la better. Howlin Ray's in downtown is better

Amazing fried chicken sandwiches and tenders. The coleslaw, mac and cheese, and milkshakes are all great, and the Dave?s sauce is excellent. Spice level is no joke! Totally worth taking it there though? always go for an extra hot slider, plus some hot tenders to bring to work for lunch the next day. Only once have I dared to brave the Reaper. Whoa. Dangerous????? but still totally delicious ????

I tried the Carolina reaper chicken, even had to sign a waiver and it wasn?t that hot. Chicken was coated in a spice rub and too greasy and salty.The chicken was juicy but the flavours don?t penetrate the meat. I liked the fries.

Pretty cool spot. They make good, spicy chicken at fair prices. Open relatively late have an easy pickup window. Not the best but also not a bad value for your money. Pictured is Combo 2 (2 sliders fries) one additional tender.

I went to the location in Culver City and received excellent service from Moat and Dylan. The food and service was so good I went two days in a row! Excellent!
