Restaurant bewertenThis is a fantastic spot for a lunch date. The music creates a lovely atmosphere, and the food is exceptional. I highly recommend the fish tacos and margaritas—they're both delicious!
Stopped in on a Sunday evening party of 3 no reservations was seated immediately, we sat inside, outside was a little crowded due to the live band. The employees were welcoming. Mitchell was our waiter he was great and suggested the tuna crispy rice which was a Amazing! The avocado rolls were okay really just cut avocado in fried shell, the crab dip was good for an appetizer. We had the lobster roll which was an explosion of flavors very fresh lobster. The salmon tacos were good as well again very fresh. I had a rum cocktail which was nice and refreshing. My over all experience at Off The Hook was a pleasure and I will definitely go back soon.
A loud, tacky version of the beloved Fish Company. Waited for a table in the narrow, crappy area behind the (what we thought was karaoke) stage. Random ugly chairs and a table or 2. The live music by an older woman was kinda odd. If attempting to class the place up, it was a fail. Tried to get a beverage from the bar while awaiting our table. No such luck. They were very busy, so that 's a good thing, but no help from staff in obtaining service. Husband finally bullied his way in. The glass of Chardonnay was so very sweet, it could not have been a chard. Asked the table waitress about it, she said the color didn 't look right but didn 't offer to replace it. Waste of $18. Hit and miss on the food. Had a poblano cheese appetizer that was good. My fish was very good. No complaints from daughter on fish n chips. Hubby had steak and lobster. Neither were great. The lobster tasted like dirty dish water. I 'm sorry to sound so negative. It 's getting 3 stars because my meal was good. Service and ambiance a fail. We the Fish Company, but this off the hook version, in our opinion, has great potential but was a flop.
Friday. Early Happy Hour. Met up with a former coworker. Arrived early. Lots of parking. That changed later. Sat at one of the booths in the bar. Know that there are two restaurants connected Off the Hook and the Fish Company. I wasn't specific and my friend took a minute to find me as he was looking for me at the bar at the Fish Company. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Pretty quiet at first however, by the time we left, it was filled up and getting loud. Everyone having a good time for Happy Hour. Includes drinks and food items. Service was great. Server was attentive, nice and fun. Both funny and professional too. Can't ask for much more in this department. The food was good. I enjoyed the oysters and how the brininess was balanced out by the grilled cheese. Also ordered fries and I'll just say all the serving platters were wiped clean. Really enjoyed my experience here and will hopefully be back soon to try food off the regular menu. I didn't look at it as I was there for Happy Hour but dishes looked and smelled great as they were being brought out to other tables.
This Saturday evening wasn't as busy as I thought. Got seated after a few moment and our server greeted us right away.I was craving for the lobster roll but got the pasta instead. My goal is to try something new for each visit. The white clam chowder was so creamy yummy!Hawaiian sparkling water came in a whole glass bottle, filtered Hawaii volcano water.Enjoyed our dinner with great live music.
