Restaurant bewertenVery disappointed by our eating. that was ok, but the “peaceful scallops” were not scallops. I assure them. Previously I have conducted research in seafood fishing labelling, but I don’t need a DNA test to tell them that the “scallops” actually fish, probably cajau, as they find in a frozen fish stick. Unfortunately, this makes me very unlikely to trust that everything else is the right meat.
This place is a sweat! I ordered here for the first time! as a normal person I would open up here there is the website to see the menu! since the opening page on the website had pictures of the directed they supposed to make, so I ordered king pohun and szechuan bark. Now they let me tell them that I am a type 2 diabetists and planned to eat only the dishes without rice! when the food arrived, I was shocked to find the King-Pe chicken was fried chicken and the bark was also fried together that it was nice that I didn't even see the picture! when the manager called me, she told me that it was no matter that I was a diabetic website and that I could still eat it! Is that your serious? she told me that I was not a bad website and that I could not have it! at the end I told her it's not about the money, it's about not being a decent man! I will never order again and if they have diabetes, this place is not for them! So here is their wrong advertising what I got verses what they show.
Had just hot and sour suppe ok if that. will not be here again
We have tried takeout several times from Taste of Beijing. We’ve appreciated their direct online ordering through their website, which doesn’t include any upcharges like ordering through GrubHub or similar sites often does. For Covid precautions, they have plastic sheeting dividing the counter from the rest of the restaurant, and handle food and payment through slits in the plastic. They have signs up encouraging wearing masks as well (though the staff haven’t always been wearing them). The food itself is fairly good. One favorite is chicken and rice soup for two. It's chicken and rice in broth, simple, but you get a whole pint for under $6 and comes with tasty wontons as well. You can make it a meal and it's a great value. The Peking duck rolls are good: shredded Peking duck and lettuce in rolled flour tortillas with plum dipping sauce. A nice snack, not quite worth $6.50, but nice if you want a bit of Peking duck without the full production. The steamed pork dumplings were fairly good and standard, with the right proportion of meat and dough, and the usual soy sauce dip. Shanghai noodles provided a good showing. They were very flavorful and not too greasy. These were more spicy than most places we've tried, just shy of being too hot for Mr. Cuddles. We’ve tried the triple delight and sesame chicken. Both were tasty and about as expected. The sesame chicken had a good proportion of broccoli to chicken. This is a reasonably priced Chinese restaurant and we’ll likely be back again many more times. Give them a try!
Great food, very friendly family owned restaurant. Large portions for a great price. Best Chinese around! Plus the egg rolls are amazing!! Can't have just one
