Restaurant bewertenWhile there are a few tables available for dining in, the atmosphere felt too hectic with the constant flow of orders and customers picking up food, making it hard to enjoy eating there. However, our order was ready right on time. We got General Tso's Chicken and a side of steamed shrimp dumplings, totaling around $30. The portion of chicken was quite generous, though it did lose a bit of its crispiness during the 10-minute drive to our eating spot. Nonetheless, the flavor was very tasty. The steamed shrimp dumplings were excellent, and the dipping sauce was delicious. The shrimp was fresh and not fishy at all—a nice change, as I’ve encountered overly fishy shrimp at other places recently. Overall, the food was solid. This restaurant has been around for years, and they definitely know how to serve great Chinese cuisine. I’ll be back for more!
I ordered the mango chicken and boneless ribs, and both were delicious. I had requested it to be spicy, but it wasn’t very spicy at all. Now I know to order it extra spicy next time! The chicken was tender, and the mango slices were thinly cut and fresh. The peppers and vegetables were nice and crisp, and the ribs looked like they had just been freshly sliced off the bone. Yum! Everything was perfect, and I couldn't be happier! I even received a free egg roll. I’ve finally found my go-to Chinese place!
I've been visiting Ming Ying's for over 20 years. While the prices have fluctuated, like many places since the pandemic, the quality and portion sizes have remained consistent. My wife occasionally brings home food from other restaurants, but nothing compares in terms of taste, aroma, or presentation. I would give them 5+ stars every time. - EDM 20 Samp
Surprised to see negative reviews The roast duck noodle soup has consistently been amazing. Great packaging for delivery and great flavor. Shrimp dumplings were also pretty fantastic. Can't complain and looking forward to trying more dishes from their rather large menu
The food lacked much flavor and bothe the enrolls and crab Rangoon were wrapped in too many wonton wrappers (making them very dry and chewy). We ordered a pint of pork fried rice, a pint of beef lo mein, crab rangoon, egg rolls, and the plain chicken with mixed veggies and brown rice (which does come with a sauce on the side, so we tried the curry sauce). I will say it was a nice option to get a sauce on the side that isn't made with cornstarch, and the curry sauce was pretty good....but watered down once added to the very flat chicken and over cooked veggies soaked in the water the were cooked it. The lo mein was pretty good too, and the rice was well cooked....but just those few items we go cost $80 and the portions were not large at all! We probably wouldn't go back.
