Restaurant bewertenThis restaurant is a great spot to enjoy some delicious carved meats and sausages. The beer flights and appetizers are a great way to start your meal. Overall, everything was fantastic. I only gave it 4 stars because the kitchen was a bit slow and there were long gaps between service. This didn't bother me since I was with good company, but I felt I should mention it.
This restaurant is excellent, with delicious flavors from Germany and an extensive selection of German beers!
Been here a few times. The fries are some of the best I’ve ever had, and friends I’ve brought here have said the same. The wurst are all good but the Elk and Wild Boar are the top two. Of all the beers the Petrus passionfruit sour is the best, very fine passionfruit flavor with the sourness being the hard hitting underlying tone.
We had an amazing experience here. The food is an excellent blend of tradition and their own take. Trevor is a grade A server who had a great knowledge of the menu and beer selection. Perfectly relaxing atmosphere. Be back soon!
Everything was terrific… from food to service. We sat “outside” with heaters and it was perfect. The chicken Schnitzel, sausage platter, sauerkraut, potato salad, and luscious Käsespätzle (traditional southern German dish of tiny dumplings baked with cheese onions) were so, so good. The bacony deviled eggs were lovely, as was the Pretzel with Obatzda (beer cheeese spread). Yum!Most importantly get the warm, wintry Glühwein, which is perfectly mulled wine with vanilla, citrus, and spices. Delish!
