Kinkao is a Thai restaurant, located in Brick Lane, which is more renowned famed for its myriad of curry houses, rather than the flavours of the exotic Far East. Nonetheless, Kinkao strives succeeds in bringing a little bit of Thailand to an area dominated by Bangladeshi cuisine. The establishment serves a full halal menu, in a deceptively large restaurant decorated with carved wood furnishings Asian ornaments; transporting the diner to the mystical orient. Eat was ok. service ok. all in order. pity when I really hoped it would be great.

We were a bit disappointed that there were no Thai green curry on the solid New Year's menu. we were told that there was no possibility of the à la cart menu. In addition to a party felt a bit hurried as teller were cleaned while some people still eat.

Great tasting. we ordered the kfc, calamari, seafood bibimbap and bark die fry. all tasted great. although some tooth problems with the hostess, but we were told, 2/3 people were on their first day.

Beautiful view of the water. eating is nice if not amazing. the service is okay. nothing special about this place, but good for families.
