Restaurant bewertenWonderful pub atmosphere. highly recommended. excellent fishing and chips, the service was also great.
A group of 8 of us visited the duke of kendal on Sunday, October 30th and really enjoyed it. eating was really good and our waitress was fantastic! we will certainly return and recommend it without question. Thank you!
Arrived and were told that they had not received us in because “they were too busy to check open table bookings”. the food was good. price right for the quality. Live music gave a great atmosphere
Didn’t get off to a great start but improved. On arrival many tables were reserved but not for our party of two. I was offered some table choices outside. Once we had seated no one came so we decided to take an inside table in the hopes of more attention. Once seated we were instructed from the bar we should order at the bar. During that process the manager intervened and said we couldn’t sit at our selected table because of locals and that we didn’t need to order at the bar. We moved again to the dining room. As a pub it’s a nice and popular pub and food was good it’s just not great table service. It’s a bit of a no man’s land in between. Staff were friendly. Service charge was included in the bill.
Lovely Sunday lunch venue. Excellent roast and very friendly staff.
