Springwood macdonalds - Logan City

Food was good, service was fast, but oh my!! .. the restaurant and toilets were .. good, maybe the cleaning staff felt a little off that day

Two things; I ordered 3 quarters of stones, but my son said that they were not 3 quarters of stones, but they had put the Cheeseburger Pflaster in the rolls and they were off the palms as quarters. I told the counterperson who called an older, experienced person to live the situation. She reaffirmed that they were definitely Quarter Pounders. It was not until my son (who worked at another exit) refuted them. They apologized and replaced them quickly. The second edition was when one of the family visited and found the female toilets, poo was on the floor in the cabin, which had been rubbed and extended into the tiles. Around the Poo were many big insects. The Poo has been there for some time.

To start with, the speaker in the drive thru is near impossible to hear with other cars around so the chances of getting the order right are 50/50. Then get to the pay window to then be asked to pull over and wait for the...meal. Interesting considering the order was only for a couple of bacon and egg muffins and coffee. After waiting for nearly 8 minutes, I called the store from the drive thru and had to remind them I was waiting for my food. Another 2 minutes and the food arrives via a smug little minion. So much for the convenience of drive thru. I will drive a bit further from now on.

I have been through Springwood Macdonalds regularly for my meal breaks as a local bus driver for 4 years. Before I start let me tell you I waited a good four minutes at the counter and there were no other customers standing with me and...I noticed alot of staff standing around listening to this lady who served me. Rude to start off. Most the time the staff are wonderful, but there is a middle age woman who served me, Order No: 110 on the 17/12/2014 at 09:06am, Reg #1. I had pre-ordered a coffee and cake at the Cafe and after washing my hands had chosen to purchase a meal. I casually asked if I could have the order together as a meal. Instantly the loud lady replied, No, you have to purchase the order together . I replied politely, That 's Okay, No worries . Annoyed but okay. Then she started to explain the right ways to purchase a meal. Again I replied, That 's Okay, Thank You . I paid for my meal, as she handed the change she started again, I said with annoyance, That 's Okay, Thank You . By this time I turned my back went to get my coffee and cake at the Cafe and returning I noticed the middle age lady had her back from me telling the other servers what was obviously my repeated comments of That 's Okay, Thank You and laughing about it. By this time I was really pissed off and said, Just shut up and give me my food. Rude, Loud and Annoyingly Obnoxious!

I live in the area and to be blunt the service is what you would expect from kids who treat the job as a job not a career. But as for the cleanliness its disgusting. I would like the fries to have less salt. When...I managed our drive thru had 30 second service or park the car. Any more than ten cars I would sent staff out with a head set and take the orders. Macas has let its standards slip. It's no wonder I walk around the corner to other fast food outlets. The only way forward for this store is to get tough and get some pride into what your staff do. There are PLENTY of people looking for work. Your staff are casual so legally you can give then one hours notice. So use the tools you have to fire the slackers and get your store a better rating.
