Lil Charlie's - Lockhart

We usually go for the loaded pommes, my daughter loves it with honey bbq ranch, but we recently decided to try their chicken wings as they highly recommend, allegedly #1 in Lockhart. We have the 10 pieces, had several choices of sauces to choose, but just wanted to keep it for our first attempt, so we chose honey bbq. It also came with 2 sides, so we chose the waffle fries onion rings, it came with a drink. I thought I had such a big job, but it was a single can soda, but hey, we're not here to talk about the drink, so let's get right on it! The meal looked appetizing when I took the first bite, I got so much sauce that exaggerated everything... Don't get me wrong, I love sauce, but it seemed to try to balance the light dryness of the chicken wing as I prefer my wing a little damp. I quickly learned to wipe off the access sauce to get more pleasant taste, definitely now know to order it with half the sauce if I want to order it in the future. The waffleries were ok, not crispy, but I think of all the order, the onion rings were the best part of my meal. Nice crispy, one of my best decisions by far in Lockhart. So, overall, as there are no other chicken wings to compare it, I can't say that these are ranked #1 by Lockhart, but in my opinion I will make my homemade. I don't spend more than $15 for 10 pieces of chicken wings, invaded in Bbq sauce to compensate for the dryness of the wing, 2 pages, a can of soda.

Big wings and Mac and cheese. It's expensive, but that's rising to the price of the wings. I would recommend an order during peak hours or at least expect a waiting period. how a waiting is normal

I found my wing place! Pulled out of Austin a few years ago and never tried this place. The food was so delicious. Waiting was long, but it was worth it.

Friendly staff. Delicious food. Family owned. We always get what we order, and the food is always hot and super brilliant.

Definitely a spot for quick and delicious food. More like sit down and snack. Definitely a spot to check out if you are in the area.
