Amaya was by far one the best workers I’ve had at outback great customer service very friendly and attentive I hope every worker there uses her work ethic as a example of how to perform at work

My partner and I went to the Middlebelt Rd. location last night and it wasn't very busy. It took a long time for our server to approach our table and we ordered 2 beers. About 15 minutes later she returned to take our order and I asked about our beers which she had forgotten to order. Another 15 minutes goes by and we still hadn't received our appetizer. I told her we'd like to pay for our beers and leave. A manager approached our table and asked us to stay assuring us we would get our food quickly. My salad arrived promptly, but still no appetizer. Finally THAT arrived and 5 minutes later our entrees were delivered although mine was incorrect. The food was delicious and the manager offered to comp our bill which I refused. He did give us a discount. My biggest problem with this entire experience was the server's complete lack of interest in us. The table behind us received exemplary service from this same server. We were both very polite to her and I left her a good tip. I have been in the restaurant business for 47 years and am currently employed at a restaurant that I take tremendous pride in. The manager on duty did his job. The server on the other hand acted as if she could have cared less. I will consider carefully whether or not to return to this location since there are so many other steakhouses to choose from nearby. Again, the food was excellent. The service was terrible.
