Mayflower - Liverpool

Great personal, great restaurant! really like the mixed starter

Last night we went to the mayflower to dinner (19 December 2016) the mayflower is an iconic Chinese restaurant in liverpool and has been close for years. I do not live in the U.K. when we visit, the mayflower nostalgie brings back, from here over many traveling up. the service was exceptionally good. consistent. the waiters were friendly and attentive. the food was also fabulous. the duck and pancakes and the chili cowbird nest were super dishes. my favourite dish was however definitiw the prawn toast. would go back pure for it! a great evening from all very enjoyed. would definitely recommend.

Eating was excellent except customer service where a short lady was extremely rude. reece was the best in customer service polite and friendly. I have eaten my suppe as an appetizer, then the dame bought the main thing while I only started my suppe. the short lady needs a crash course in label, as you don't cost penny.

I have to say never disappointed with this place. Food as usual was excellent. A good family run restaurant

The service was fast and pleasant with every dish arriving at the table when you would expect it (we were a party of 7 so not so easy to get timings right! . The food was also second to non; cooked to perfection! Will definetly be visiting this place again!
