China House - Littlestown

China House was recommended by friends. It's a small, warm restaurant with an enthusiastic and helpful staff. Everything was cooked to order and we thoroughly enjoyed the won ton soup, egg rolls, fried rice and coconut shrimp. Servings were large so that we had some to take home for dinner. It's only 8 miles from Taneytown, so go often. We will.

You cannot allow a disabled veteran service to eat dog in your business, then I don't have to eat there either! Shame for you!!!

I never had a problem with food or service at the China House. They are very friendly and accommodating. Once there was a small mix of our order, but we did not lose sleep over it and until they were busy. It wasn't even worth mentioning (I think it was a mix with the type of rice we ordered. We've been eating there since they opened up and the food and service was always excellent.

We called into China House to place an order to go. The lady who answered the phone took my order incorrectly. We ordered fried rice with our meal and the lady who answered the phone obviously thought we ordered white rice because when we got home that's what we got. We called them to let them know, the lady who answered the phone never apologized, instead she argued and told me that!s what I ordered. She finally asked what she can do. I told her I would like a free meal next time, she said she couldn't, do that, she put the owner on the phone and said we can get a pint of free fried next time. We told them. We didn't want that because the meal we order comes with fried rice. We suggested that we get a free meal, they were so animate about it and treated us so rude. We have been ordering food from this restaurant on a weekly basis for 3 years. We could not believe how we were treated.
