Restaurant bewertenI was in this restaurant several times when I was in town and I loved it. the vegan menu is expansiw and the options were quite delicious. However, I stopped going as soon as I found out that it is vegan Mexican sweet soup with worcestershire sauce that contains sardella! if something is specified as vegan it should be vegan. I didn't eat here and I don't want to go back. only one warning when they eat there, they check what's in the food.
A great place to eat when you're on your way with omnis. the personal is knowledgeable and very friendly, and the atmosphere is amazing! Most vegan foods are however quite dirty (the suppers are large) and the portions are small. also a bit disappointing that their non-dairy spread contains molke, but I appreciate the transparency they have in relation to their ingredients. Wishing that they switch to a vegan butter, so there are more genuine vegan options!
I really enjoyed the variety of vegan (and gf options.) the veggie tamales were delicious. I also had a Greek salate that was good, but needed more sweet. I felt the prices were a bit high my meal was $18 for two rather small fools, a basket of chips, and a side salad.
They have good vegan tamals, but no tonne vegan options, but it's all clear on their vegan menu (that they need to ask) with the take-off of butter, which is soy based but has molke in it. they also offer a vegan pizza without cheese that we have ordered for our children, but the sweet were not cooked at all, so we were somehow disappointed that everything else was good. my man and I ordered the vegan fools and I got the hummus plate that was really delicious.
Izzy's was amazing! I can't wait to go back! Their menu is filled with noted vegetarian meals, all house made, and all very creative(no boring salad). They also have a separate vegan menu to make it easy for you. The only thing is, is that it's a dietary vegan menu, because on a few items they use a non-dairy butter that has whey in it. But those items are noted and you can ask for it without. I ordered their famous house made veggie tamales, which come with salsa and chips (best vegan tamales EVER), and an order of sweet potato fries and guacamole. (Gigantic order and the most delicious sweet potato fries I've had). They also have fire brick pizzas(definitely trying next time) the place has such a nice atmosphere, and a beautiful patio area. Service was very nice and fast. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone traveling near little rock, ar.
