For the time it was in the price I would? ve expected something better. I ordered dice steak and engraving and got nothing but a few dice steaks and it is dry. And my son?s chicken was still bleeding!! I contacted the manager this morning and she apologized and said she would correct the situation and call me back? You don't have to say that they still hate?t returned the call! Stay far away from this place!!!! Update: the manager Lisa just called and said they would refund me if I took my review down!!! Absolutely not! It is my experience and I?m calling the health department on Monday!!!!

OMG so delicious I got the Veggie plate and it was not disappointed. Go on what you do. I hope that next Thursday I can join karaoke and the weekend for this dressing. This place is a must for your soul food wishes!

My son and I had lunch here on Sunday 6/24 and let me tell you we were not disappointed, April?s place serves old school soul food like grandma used to make, they took me back to growing Up in Miami where you can get all kinds of food at any different times. If you?re looking for a place that serves fresh homemade great meals Aprils place is a place to come I am excited to try their meatloaf next time around. PS the sides are banging too!

We learned of April's Southern Bistro via an ad on Fb where it was a Buy1 Get 1 FREE deal. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! The grits have a creamy cheese sauce that have you wanting to take another bite, even when you're full! We also had dessert, banana pudding peach cobbler. They were good. They also have a bar, we didn't order from it. I would recommend to everyone to go check this place out!

I also ordered a three-piece catfish with fries. The fries were greasy and clearly needed to be refried, and while the fish looked appealing, it was cooked so hard that I could only manage to eat the center. I waited around 40-45 minutes for my meal, and when it finally arrived, I had to go to the bar after several minutes to ask for silverware, napkins, and condiments. My total came to about $30, and I left a $10 tip. I had seen the restaurant on social media, and since they are conveniently located nearby, I was really hoping for a great experience and a new cocktail spot to add to my go-to places. Despite my attempts to be polite, the overall experience was very poor. I didn’t take any pictures of the food or drinks and have no plans to return. In hindsight, I should have read the comments before my visit.
