Restaurant bewertenit was one of the best food experiences in my life! we liked everything, even carrots and rice, which was a next dish, was perfect! we had sardines and pork. uncannyly amazing, and later ordered chocolate mousse and a bit later reispudding. in any case, reispudding is a must to try maria, makes great atmosphere, they want to stay there, they enjoy their time and taste! we will return next year!
that was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. the owner sat with us for a few minutes to explain how she cooked the pork. she was so nice and definitiw one of the best chefs I met. I wish I had discovered this restaurant earlier on my trip, because I would have come here every day I was in lisbon. we have been in portugal for 10 days, have tried many restaurants, and it was the best we had, and I would put it in the top 10 I had ever lived in my life! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, and I will be happy if I am next time in lisbon. maria, thank you so much for creating such a wonderful experience for us tonight! they eat, their restaurant and they are great! for food recommendations we got the pork and the otopus and were both so incredibly delicious. I'm sure they are.
we had an incredible dinner here. we were recommended to garnish the garlic of the nice lady and they were from this world. they also have to order the broth, the soße is made to dive. we also had the codfish with kartoffels, swirling and iron and it was very interesting. I loved the sweet rice. also very goo house white wine. great service and the opportunity to pay with the card. very good vibes, they should definitely give this restaurant a try.
Went there two days in a row for an extensive lunch. Cute, small-scale restaurant where they cook with passion. Had lovely sardines and squid dishes, as well as a delicious glass of porto wine. And then rice pudding... if you have the chance, go here.
Tu e Eu is the kind of place you always hope to find when travelling. Warm and friendly people, excellent traditional food, pleasant surroundings ... you will feel welcome and comfortable. It's a small place serving a few wonderful Portuguese dishes like the fantastic shrimp in spicy garlic oil, codfish bras (cod mixed with hash-brown potatoes), octopus salad (especially wonderful octopus with diced tomatoes and green peppers in a nice vinaigrette), and grilled sardines. Great wine, craft beer and port. While the food is great, the people are just wonderful. There's a wonderful story by Maria, the owner, about her life as a potter in Santa Cruz (I thought California but actually Portugal) and more. She's on the left in my photo. I felt like part of the family when I left, and will certainly be back next time I visit Lisbon.
