The manager shows little regard for her employees. There was only one person handling the entire workload, and they were exhausted. It seems they were even serving expired food. This employee clearly hadn’t received any training. Since 8 o'clock, they have been managing ten customers without taking a single break or lunch. As an outsider, I couldn't believe how poorly this operation is being run under a manager named Ashley.
Feeling let down, I went back to Subway to voice my concerns. The manager apologized and mentioned that there have been numerous complaints about that particular employee for not adding enough meatballs. Ironically, I had even tipped her $5! I plan to order the meatball sub again, but next time, I’ll make sure to remind them to give me all eight meatballs.
The sandwich I had was quite good. The place was bustling, but that's not the staff's fault. The rest of the restaurant could use some tidying up, but given how busy the workers were and how much attention the space required, I can only sympathize with them as they try to manage everything. I'm sure it looks better during less busy times.
I had the pleasure of trying a delicious and satisfying turkey sub with bacon, avocado, and more from their new sandwich menu! The staff, particularly Mikala Ramirez, were fast, friendly, and professional. I visited yesterday evening and truly appreciated the staff’s attention to detail and hard work, especially given the heat from those hot ovens! I hope the owner has fixed the air conditioning soon, as it would make for a much more comfortable dining experience. Given the dedication of the team working so hard in the heat, I happily left a tip more than twice the cost of my sandwiches. I hope everyone shows their appreciation as well!
