The Old Quarter - Limerick

Love this place... Great staff and friendly.. . But I was with my family in there yesterday and the food was very disappointing.

This hotel is really in the centre of Limerick, you can walk less than 3 minutes and you'll be in the front of the store's for shopping, but the noisefor the pub's around is really high and stops close to 2am, so if you want to stay in the center and don't care about noise stay here. Now about my experience with the hotel wasn't so amazing like I expected. The first receptionist who's attending me in my check-in was the most gentle and helpful, compare with the others 2 day's I was in this hotel. The pictures in the website or the booking.com is exactly what you have, like you can see in the pictures I taken in the room I received. The waitress is kindly, Bruna and I really don't remember the name for the other, and ready for help you with the breakfast, but have some issues in my stay. The hotel have 2 floors, but the lift only attending one floor, that's a trouble for who's have some problems like me in my knee. The first and second day's (Tuesday and Wednesday)in the breakfast disappointing me a lots, but today's (26/05/22) I was surprised with the breakfast, I asked exactly the same dishe I was ordered one day ago and the poached egg was exactly what I expected to have in one breakfast, hot and tasty. If I'll be there in my next trip to Limerick? If I'll be in the first floor, and received the same attending like in my last day in the breakfast and seeing more attention like the first receptionist definitely I'llbe back more times.

Beautiful eating, excellent service, great place for a meal.

Very nice place for a short visit to stay in limestone. well located at a reasonable price. the room was large enough for two people, although the bathroom might have been a bit bigger, I think. in the night can be a bit loud that it is hard for the bright sleeping like I have a good recovery. Although it is warned that once you have booked, there is nothing about people who come in the middle of the night into their own rooms and who doors like no one else muddle, but they are still awake. I understand that this may be out of control of the staff, but it feels like they would not even try to ask guests to be respectful with others. the window glass is so thin, neither helps to keep the loud nightlife away, to close it or to open it, makes no difference at all.
