Restaurant bewertenThe food was delicious and the service was friendly. We ordered burgers, both were perfect. Our friends ordered the chicken sandwiches: Bluebird and regularly. The side salads were beautiful, very nice and delicious. Photos of all included. The best part was the apple cake. The waiter told us it was done in the morning. Omg! The best cake I've had for a long time. You could definitely say that the cake crust was made by scratches. It was fluffy and delicious. The engagement was also fantastic. Not too sweet and just the right amount of apples. Only they wished vanilla ice cream to go with it, he said they had run out). Price was a bit steep $50 for 2 burgers, side salads subbed for chips, foam water, tea and apple cake. The room is small but picturesque. You only have about 10 tables, so if you go to a busy time you might rather wait, I recommend calling for reservations. We went on a Sunday afternoon at 3:00 and there were only a few other people in there. I liked the atmosphere. I definitely come back, maybe even just to get a cake.
Upon arrival, the staff were very accomodating in moving tables together to allow for a family and friends to sit together since the interior is smaller. Throughout the visit, the staff was also attentive, but not overbearing. In regards to the food, it was amazing and blew past my expectations for the type of food and location. I ordered a 'Country Boy ', which has two eggs, sausage patty, sausage link, bacon, seasoned potatoes, chefs biscuit covered in sausage gravy and three very fluffy and delicious pancakes. There are varying options you can customize this meal with such as toast instead of biscuit or French toast instead of pancakes as others ordered the same with mixed items, though I found the 'on the menu ' selection to be perfect. That said, you will likely not be able to finish the plate, so expect left overs and get a to go box for later. There are some plates with much less than the Country Boy, if you are not too hungry. Additionally, the menu was not overloaded with 500 items to choose from, which is refreshing as you can quickly decide what you would like and the selection of options is nice. As an estimate, there were probably no more than 20 items to choose from on the brunch menu which included breakfast, lunch and dinner items. We will definitely return and recommend this establishment to others.
Great little spot. There is a bakery counter with handmade sweets and spices and a small seating area. The menu is simple, but all we had was delicious and seemed to be made fresh. The service was friendly and they made all the accusations we demanded. The only con was any substitution was quite expensive. Homefries instead of chips, $3. Add avocado, $2. If you get Picky, it will be easy to taste an additional $10 or so. Nevertheless, I recommend stopping and getting at least one pecan roll that was amazing.
My family had lunch today. Chicken was delicious, seasoned perfectly. The salads are filled and the domestic frits are fantastic. Homemade bread cookies were excellent. Very recommended, this place, owners were friendly and pleasant.
Stopped in town on my day to try this place, recommended by a friend who works here along her family! I must say it was absolutely amazing! Nicely seasoned, crispy, crispy and cooked for perfection! I also had one side of Fritten to go with my sandwich and let me tell you... that was absolutely amazing! If you are ever in town, I would recommend this place
