Super Pollo - Liberal

This restaurant was a big disappointment to me. I thoroughly enjoy Pollo Asado (Mexican Roast Chicken) in my hometown but not here. There are several small restaurants in the Kansas City area that serve this grilled chicken with tortillas and side dishes that are great. So, I thought I would try Pollo Asada here in Liberal to see how they would do it. Here are the results:The chicken was tender but barely warm. All the food seemed as if it was kept warm since lunch and we had it at about 5:30 pm. The grilled jalapeno peppers were almost tasteless as were the marinated onions. The only tasty side dish was the beans. We tried it once and wouldn't be back.

The chicken was well prepared and had a good taste. I recommend this place if you are looking for a good pollo asado with all the trimmings.
