Restaurant bewertenWe had to book in advance and that tells you that this place is very popular. We saw that when having our meal, with so many walk ins being asked to book for later in the week or just politely refused. The venue has a lovely feel about it such as a large old press turned into a table, open fire, many artefacts from last century strategically hung from all walls posts and beams. I particularly like how seating is at different levels too. The menu is very much French and the waitress was very helpful in helping us select the right meal. A Tartiflette and and Galette were ordered and both were fantastic. The wait was kind enough to substitute the duck breast with Parma ham on my Galette and it was delicious. Washed down with the house red and a lovely ice cream crepe at the end meant we left very satisfied and full. Nothing that a short walk wound fix. Would recommend this place and would definitely go again. But do book ahead.
Lovely atmosphere, really traditional decor. and the food was excellent. I went twice during our holidays, once at lunchtime where the place was not so busy. I had caramelised apple caramel sauce pancake which was divine. The homemade hot chocolate was also really good. I decided to go back with the family for dinner during our holidays. The only table left was next to the fireplace. This did not bother me and they advised in advance (so we were prepared ! . It was very cosy, but very warm ! The waitress was friendly and service was efficient despite the place being fully booked. Pancakes were excellent (we tried the Buffala and the complete ham/cheese/egg . Really good evening.
Everything was good, raclette was delicious, they are very fast to bring the dishes so no time waiting and personal is kind. Recommended
This is a great little restaurant in L2A. So good that we ate there twice. The service was fast and friendly. The decor was all the 'old stuff ' from village life that made for a cozy environment. The food with French comfort savory crepes and other dishes that were pretty filling. One thing to note is that it is cash only (April 2022) and they are up front about that, but be prepared.
We visited for an early lunch when only two other tables were in the restaurant. We waited for over 40 minutes for two crepes and a tartiflette. The crepes were fine but tartiflette was very heavy on the cheese and we were unable to eat it.
