Restaurant bewertenFirst time eating here and the food is excellent! Great breakfast food as well as pretty decent prices for what you get. You definitely won't leave on an empty stomach. I ordered the ham steak w/ eggs, toast, and breakfast potatoes. It was delicious! My girlfriend got the waffle platter with red, white, and blue waffles strawberry, banana, and blue berry's).
Food was extremely good. Large portions, service was great even though they were busy. Waitress/Waiters checked on us several times, drink refills were delivered when we still had at over a 1/4 of our drink left without us asking. It was very friendly, inviting, extremely comfortable atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and anticipated what we needed before we knew we needed it.
Good service is still around. This newer Big Biscuit was a great place to sit back, eat and have a chat. The food was on point and the service was as well. This is a place I?d hop to before other breakfast competitors. The had a large outside patio that will be nice for this time of year. The only thing I would change are the chairs. The seats are not the ?stay all day? variety. Probably a good thing as people could easily stay and enjoy more good food.
I went to the one on 87th and 435. It was a disappointment. Usually you feel welcome. The one I usually go to is on Shawnee mission Pkwy. The atmosphere is better and they have actual booths instead of a bunch and 2 chairs. When we walked in they acted like they couldn't have cared less. The food was only average. I would not go back especially since the prices have gone up. Too bad...
I recently visited The Big Biscuit for a Monday brunch and had an overall fantastic experience. The hostess greeted us promptly, and despite the decent crowd, the manager ensured smooth service at the host stand and throughout our visit. Our waitress was notably friendly and warm, providing quick service. Although there was a slight mix-up with my order – receiving hashbrowns instead of the expected potatoes – it wasn't a significant issue and didn't overshadow the positive experience.I opted for the Mayberry with potatoes and shared the cinnamon roll pancakes with my girlfriend. The food was not only delicious but also cooked to perfection. The slight undercooking of the cinnamon roll pancakes added a delightful texture, making them even more enjoyable. While the restaurant is smaller than some other Big Biscuit locations I've been to, the updated décor was a pleasant surprise. Despite the minor order mishap, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, and it didn't diminish our overall satisfaction.
