Caffe Nero - Leicester

Good coffee, though a bit expensive. good service. it shocked me to find that there were some pennies cheaper to have it outside on the terrace than inside, in Spain it would be the other way around.

Pleasant staff, quick service but it felt a bit rushed even though the place was empty. They assumed I was paying by card even though I wanted to use their app to get stamps. Would be nice to just hear my order confirmed to me and be asked how I would like to pay instead of just ok card readers ready still good though

This is the worst Caffe Nero in Leicester! As a coffee lover, I have visited all the other Caffe Nero locations in Leicester and decided to check out this one on Christmas Eve. It was by far the worst experience I've had. When I walked in, the two staff members behind the counter, a man and a woman, were both on their phones. I waited for a good minute to be acknowledged or served. Even when I ordered a coffee to drink in, they were still on their phones, which I found rude and discourteous. It seemed like they were both Polish and were not speaking in English. Ironically, they had a 'tip' mug on the counter (how audacious). My tip for them would be to improve their customer service skills, get off their phones, and show more courtesy as they are there to work and serve customers, not be on social media. This was very poor customer service. The management at Caffe Nero should address this issue. I will not be returning to this location.

I have walked by this restaurant countless times but decided to finally stop in on a rainy Friday afternoon in October for a takeaway cappuccino. The service was a bit slow since there was only one person working, but the lady behind the counter was efficient, polite, and helpful in recommending their coffee options, including the Brazilian coffee. I look forward to returning to enjoy a sit-down coffee in their cozy indoor seating area.

This is the best café in Leicester. The staff are incredible, always friendly and helpful. It's rare to find genuinely friendly baristas who make excellent coffee and go the extra mile to brighten your day. Sometimes I stop by just to say hello and check in on them. 10/10 would recommend.
