Restaurant bewertenI was stunned, frankly, at the cost and lack of privacy between campsites. We stayed at the group site, and aside from a water spigot and views, it was not a nice campsite. While the rest of the sites appeared to have soft dirt, the group site is covered in gravel. Campers are literally on top of one another. The bathroom near the group campsite was dirty and I avoided it as much as possible. It was not peaceful- other campers were loud, and with the lack of greenery between sites, there's nothing to drown out the noise. I stay at State and Federal campgrounds often, so when a friend invited us on this trip at a private campground, and considering the outlandish cost $564 for 2 nights! , I figured it would actually be nice. Then, there came the treacherous walk down to the Eel River. The map makes it appear to be a short stroll with zero mention of a grade. It was crazy steep and long. The river is lovely but no credit goes the the campground for that. I slipped on the way down in good, grippy shoes. I'm annoyed at how much we spent. And karaoke night on Saturday night. I mean, why? If you're looking to be out in nature for a quiet getaway, this is not the place. Seriously. Go to a public campground instead. They are miles more maintained, clean, private, and beautiful.
Having a awesome camping trip here in our rv. They have full hook up's for your rv. Restaurant and bar on property, swimming pool, playground and more. Normally we cook our own food camping, it was a nice treat to have a restaurant here, get the Bigfoot Burger you will not be disappointed.Rooms: 5/5
This place is so cozy and friendly, the people were super nice and the stay was warm and welcoming. I went to their pub to eat and the food was amazing too. It has a London vibe and it feels good.Nearby activities: There was a river trail where the water was so clean it looked blue.
We booked reservations with Redwood River Resort and Pub for July. We are planning a family trip and are traveling with our Rottweiler. They initially said out dog is permitted to come there but then called back and stated that he cannot. I told them we have to cancel our reservations as we will not leave our dog at home. All of our babysitters are camping with us. The representative informed us that we will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the first night's fees $50) to cancel. This is BS since it is not our fault we had to cancel.
I could not say enough good things about this place. We were on our way to another resort and the roads got so bad due to the recent storm that our RV started to slide. This place was nearby and a God send! Not only was this place beautiful but the staff was wonderful! They kept checking on us and were such hard workers! The playground at this place was wonderful! Super family friendly! We will be back to visit again very soon!
