Aikou Chinese - Lee's Summit

Here is the picture of a man asleep with his shoes off inside their restaurant. Look closely — seems like he works there. Who wants to eat here? Gross! No shame, no pride. We had already paid for our food online. I am throwing it in the trash.

I used to eat at Gees East Wind in Springfield when I was younger and i was so excited to see this place offered it. I was so disappointed!! This cashew chicken doesn’t taste anything like the original Springfield cashew chicken. This one is dry, no sauce hardly at all and it’s spicy, the original is not spicy and the cashew gravy isn’t even the same flavor. They need to change the name and quit marketing it like Springfield Cashew Chicken or make it taste the same.

Hands down best Chinese food in lee summit. We have been going there for the better part of a decade and it is always perfect. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. My favorite is the generals chicken but my wife prefers the kung po chicken.

This is absolutely my favorite place for Chinese food. It tastes fresher and just a step above any other quick Chinese food I've had. The twin rolls are also fantastic! I had never even heard of that before trying them here. New favorite! We ordered online for pickup quite a bit and just went in to eat there recently and wish we had been going in sooner because the woman that we ordered with was soooo fantastic.
